Wedding Party

Lisette Felix

Bride

Instead of a bio (since I have to do those for work all the time) here are some facts: - I love Chris (Duh! Right?) - I work at a Credit Union - I ran a marathon - I run everyday - I am a whiskey connoisseur - I have a cat named Cowgirl - I listen alternative rock

Skye Sommer

Maid of Honor

Skye and I met in the most pure way friends could meet. I live in the outskirts of town where the closest things to kids are goats. Most of my neighbors consisted of adults and cows. Well you can imagine my delight when I was outside one sunny summer day and saw that my next door neighbors had visitors, and not just any visitors but KIDS too! Not obvious in any way I grabbed my jump rope and jumped down the road. Skye took the hint like a pro and ran up to me as soon as she saw me. She said, "Hi, I'm Skye! Want to be friends"? Fast forward to over 20 years and we are still going strong as ever. Still watching anime, still eating pizza, still drinking soda...but now with a splash of whiskey.

Cristina Thomas

Matron of Honor

This cute sister of mine is my bestie! BUT it wasn't always that way. My sister was the oldest sibling and we are ten years apart. She had to play the mom role a lot since my parents worked so much. On top of her being my caregiver during the day she also had to deal with me being the annoying little sister. I wanted to wear all her clothes and go with her to hangout with her friends. After a few years we both found out how much we needed each other. I learned how to be more of a sister than a pain in the bum and she learned that my annoyance was really just my admiration for her and wanting to be like her. I'm so glad that today we are closer than ever and I don't know what I would do with out her.

Amy Felix

Bridesmaid

This sweet lady is the definition of STRONG. Amy is my bridesmaid that I've known the shortest amount of time but boy, do I love her with all my heart. She has been nothing but supportive in so many aspects of my life. Fun Fact: Amy actually lived a short few miles away when her and my brother were growing up. They didn't end up finding each other until much later but I am so glad that they did. I'm happy that I was blessed with such a kind, selfless, sister. My brother and Amy have two sweet babies together, Roman and Olivia.

Christina Felix

Bridesmaid

Barbies. I will never not think of Barbies when I think of Christina. I have known her since I was 3 years old, since she was just up the street. My older sister used to babysit us all and Christina and I would spend all of our time playing together. We would have sleepovers in her yard in a tent, reading scary books and eating all the snacks. Christina ended up moving away and we lost touch. At that time social media wasn't a big thing for kids of that age. PLOT TWIST: Years later her and my brother started dating and now they're married and have three beautiful children. I lost her as a neighbor for a while but how great is God to have given her back as a friend AND a sister.

Tiara Shippy

Bridesmaid

Tiara is the most honest and loyal friend. We have been through so much together including family drama, High School breakups, and real life problems. Together, we have pulled each other out of some dark times. We have also had the silliest times together. One of my greatest memories is in HS when we were walking into the building from lunch and Tiara, being a Star Wars nerd, pass by the band room just as the Imperial March starts to play. I can't explain how hard we laughed and it's probably one of those things where you had to be there for it to be funny. Tiara and her husband, Ty are fantastic parents to their sweet boy, Remington.

Kaylee Schilling

Bridesmaid

Our friendship has been based around Pon and Zi. Kaylee and I have grown a lot together as people. I think she can agree with me that we have seen each other at our worst and best times. And through it all we have both stuck by each others sides. There have been times that we question each other and our decisions but our bond has allowed us to be patient with each other and help one another grow. Kaylee and I met in Choir of all places where we shared our love of cats, emo bands, and Hot Topic. We still love cats, reminisce on emo music now and then, and have thankfully enhanced our wardrobe choices. And Kaylee, #IKFLY

Chris Henderson

Groom

Matt Beal

Best Man

To much to be said about this man. Matt has always been like a brother to me. There is not a day in my life where I would doubt this man to have mine or my family’s back. He is always there to help people when they are in need and he is the last one to ask for help when he is in need. Plus if it wasn’t for this brother of mine I would not be in the position I am now getting to marry this beautiful woman. I will never forget all the times we had as a kids causing havoc in the city just being kids. I am glad that as my marriage gets stronger and our family’s grow our kids will be able to grow up and become best friends just like us. Repeated the cycle.

Steven Pluth

Groomsman

Steven for the longest time was my moral support, someone I looked up to growing up. I never had an older brother, just cousins. Steven was always the one that let me hang out. Raid his closet for all his old cloths just so I would be hip to new trends. Playing counter strike on his computer all night when I would stay over to doing doughnuts in dirt lots in his F150 Lightning. As I got older obviously I became the DD. Yeah we all know that position sucks but along with that Steven brought me into a whole new group of friends that really I think built my character to be a better man. The day Steven left San Diego was a hard day to me. But no matter what happened through our lives I know that bond is still strong!

Joey Mello

Groomsman

Haven’t known this man as long as the rest but you wouldn’t be able to tell. Me and Joey started becoming friends playing softball. Then somehow we were playing softball 5 nights a week together. He has always been someone to have my back when things were tough for me. He is the kinda man that would give his shirt off his back for you if you really were in need. Only thing really tough to say about him is that he is just a Mediocre Softball player other than that he is one of my best friends and one of the greatest dudes I know!

Chase Henderson

Groomsman

My first of two younger brothers. Growing up in separate households made it difficult for us to be super close when growing up. However, this did not affect how much I loved the kid. As years have come and gone, our bond has just gotten closer and closer. Especially with all the fun times we spent in the desert. It makes me proud to see him becoming a man and tackling challenges in his life and moving through them. So here is to the future we called! “We shall have the potato socks but I will not be wearing crocks”!

Tanner Hill

Groomsman

My second little brother which somehow is also extremely taller than me. I grew up with this guy through his entire life. It amazes me how talented he is. With this brother I think I I showed him how to be a true gamer. The house was always quiet cause we both would just eat food and play video games. I’m really excited to hear that he has now picked up the talent of guitar playing. It’s crazy how fast we grow up and you don’t realize it until you are sitting back writing bios. Just know I am very proud of you and I hope you the best in life. Never give up on your passion.

Jordan Hunt

Groomsman

Every guy has a friend you consider the muscle. That would be Jordan. There is only one guy I could stand working out with at the gym. When I seemed like I was slipping he was there to tell me. When I was double scooping preworkout he was upping me one more scoop. He was someone that really kept me driving for my goals. When I became a trainer her was always there to help me with his photography and videographer skills. He helped me do what was needed to be a successful trainer because he knew what it was I really wanted in life. I do not think there would ever be a way to repay him for everything he has done for me.
