The Wedding Website of Lidiane Fernandes and Chris Hill
Explore Downtown New Haven and Visit some of our favorite spots.

Ashley's Ice Cream

280 York St, New Haven, CT 06511
, (203) 776-7744

This is the Ice Cream that started our story! We highly recommend that you check it our while you are in town. Some of our favorites include the Coffe Oreo, Toasted Coconut, and More.

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana

157 Wooster Street, New Haven, CT 06511
, (203) 865-5762

The Bride's Favorite Pizza Place! New Haven is ALL about pizza! And Pepe's is the best place to get it (according to Lidiane). If you don't want that classic NH char, ask for "lightly baked."

Sally's Apizza

237 Wooster Street, New Haven, CT 06511
, (203) 624-5271

The Groom's "favorite" pizza place is Sally's. It's among my top favorites; I recommend getting the traditional pie. There's going to be a line! Plan accordingly.

Other Pizza Favorites

Below are other places I recommend getting pizza from! My suggested pie is in parentheses. Modern (Italian Bomb) BAR (Mashed Potato Bacon, Mexican Street Corn) Da Legna at Nolo (Honeypot, 5th of May) Zeneli (Nutella Pizza, Bufalina)

The Trinity Bar & Restaurant

157 Orange Street, New Haven, CT 06510
, (203) 495-7736

Trinity Bar is a great place to grab a drink, watch a sports game, and listen to the occasional live band.

Yale University Art Gallery

1111 Chapel Street, New Haven, CT 06510

Yale's Art Gallery is incredible and a must-see if you are into art! It's open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Be sure to take a little chair from the main floor to sit while you take in the pieces.

East Rock Park

41 Cold Spring Street, New Haven, CT 06511

This is where Lidiane met Sigma (Chris' dog) for the first time! East Rock Park has many trails for all skill levels. If you're feeling adventurous and want to break a sweat, take the Giant Steps to the top or explore the park by Kayaking the river. Kingfisher Adventures rents and launches kayaks from the Orange Street entrance of the park.

Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library

121 Wall Street, New Haven, CT 06511
, (203) 432-2977

If you're into books, make sure to visit the Beinecke Library. It is one of the most significant buildings in the world, dedicated to rare books and manuscripts, and it houses one of the most extensive collections of such texts.

Louis' Lunch

261 Crown Street, New Haven, CT 06511
, (203) 562-5507

This is the birthplace of the hamburger! No cap.

Yale Peabody Museum

170 Whitney Avenue, New Haven, CT 06511

Do you love dinosaurs? Visit the Peabody Museum!

Barcade

56 Orange Street, New Haven, CT 06510
