Things To Do

Recommendations listed here are just the tip of the iceberg of our favorite things to do in Madison. If you choose to stay at the Embassy Suites (booking link in the "Hotel & Shuttle" section), we encourage you to explore the downtown area surrounding the hotel and discover some of your own finds. Also notable are the miles of walking and bike paths woven throughout the city and circling around both lakes. If you are looking to venture outside of the immediate Madison area, day trip spots we recommend include New Glarus, Wisconsin Dells, Devil's Lake State Park, and Lake Geneva.
