Casual Cocktail
If you plan to arrive to Madison a bit early, we invite all guests in town on Friday to join us for a welcome reception in the lobby bar of the Embassy Suites. Cocktails and ice cream will be served; if you are interested in dinner before, we invite you to check out the "Things To Do" section of this website, or simply wander in the vicinity of the hotel. There are many fabulous restaurants around the Capitol Square. No need to overdress for this event; a summer sundress or cocktail dress for the ladies and pants with a button up shirt for the gentlemen is perfect.

The ceremony will be a Mass at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Middleton and will begin promptly at 2pm. Optional transportation will depart from the Embassy Suites at 1:15pm. We ask that guests please dress in Black Tie Optional attire on the day of the wedding. Gentlemen are invited to dress in either a tuxedo or a suit with jacket and tie, and ladies are invited to dress in either a midi- or floor-length dress. Dark colors as well as more vibrant summer colors are both welcome.

Following the ceremony, please join us for a cocktail hour at Nakoma Golf Club beginning at 4pm. Optional transportation will be provided from St. Bernard to Nakoma and will depart St. Bernard at 3:15pm. We ask that guests please dress in Black Tie Optional attire on the day of the wedding. We invite all out of town guests to join us at the Embassy Suites for a casual farewell brunch on Sunday morning. This will be an open-house style brunch from 9am to 11am. Brunch will be served made-to-order for all hotel guests; if you are not staying at the hotel but are interested in attending, please let us know directly and we will make accommodations. There will be a private room reserved off of the main dining area. Wear whatever you feel most comfy in for this event :)
