Given the beautiful location of Lodore Falls, there is so much to do within the local area. Here are a few of our favourite places and experiences nearby if you are staying in the area for a little longer.

The ferries go around Derwentwater and are a great way to get to Keswick - you could even catch one to the wedding!

There are some beautiful walks around the waters of Derwentwater, you can walk all the way round the lake following the route on the website linked below.

A short walk/drive away from the venue is the beautiful Surprise View, with views right across the water on a clear day.

A family-friendly day out with lots of different animals to see at this small wildlife park.

Lake District Wildlife Park

Hope Park is one of Keswick’s main attractions. Games in the park are open all year, and include: Pitch and Putt, Crazy Golf, Pétanque and Remote Controlled Boats on a mini Derwentwater.
