The Original Cafe Du Monde, dating back to 1862, is a traditional coffee shop. Its menu consists of dark roasted Coffee and Chicory, Beignets, White and Chocolate Milk, and fresh squeezed Orange Juice. The coffee is served Black or Au Lait. Au Lait means that it is mixed half and half with hot milk. Beignets are square French -style doughnuts, lavishly covered with powdered sugar. If you are looking for coffee and a beignet, stopping in this classic French Quarter coffee shop is a must.

The site of the Cathedral-Basilica of St. Louis, King of France, has been the center of worship for the Catholic faithful in New Orleans and a major civic gathering place since the founding of our city in 1718. The first permanent church, built in 1727, was burned in the fire of 1788. This anchors Jackson Square in the French Quarter. This church is also where Chris's parents, Janice and David, were married many decades ago.

This 200-year old landmark was recently awarded 2019 "Timeless American" award by Tales of the Cocktail for being a pillar in the community and having provided a benchmark for the industry.
