Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.
We are getting married at the beautiful St Mary's Old Ursaline Catholic Church located in the French Quarter. About the Church: St Mary's was built in 1751 and is the oldest surviving Catholic church in the Mississippi Valley. With it's elegant columns, soaring ceilings, and stunning stained glass windows. This is a beloved New Orleans landmark with deep historical roots dating back to French colonial times. The building has witnessed centuries of New Orleans history, and its legacy brings timeless quality to our wedding.

The Second line will take place after the church ceremony.
What is a Second Line? A "Second Line" is a famous New Orleans tradition with a full Brass Band, Grand Marshal, and Live Entertainers. The Second Line will take us on a walking, dancing, and celebratory route from the church to the reception celebration dinner at Muriel's.

We're thrilled to kick off our wedding celebration with a special 45-minute cocktail hour in the Seance Lounge at Muriel's Jackson Square. Get ready to pose for the photo booth and have a few sharpeners prior to the reception dinner. This is the perfect time to mingle with other guests, enjoy craft cocktails, delicious small bites, and soak in the historic atmosphere of Muriel's.

In the spirit of a traditional New Orleans wedding reception, there will be lots of standing, dancing, and mingling. Hors d’oeuvres will be passed around the dining room, followed by a buffet-style dinner. The food at Muriel’s is quintessential New Orleans cuisine. We will enjoy private balcony access with stunning views of Jackson Square in the French Quarter. Muriel’s, a charming New Orleans landmark, has a rich history dating back to the 18th century. Once a grand family home, it is now known for its elegant dining and haunted reputation. We can't wait to share this special evening with you!
11:30 am - 2:30 pm
Garden Attire: Outdoors. Wear sundresses, floral prints, suits in lighter hues or more casual in shorts and a polo shirt. Perhaps a fun hat.
We will be doing a crawfish boil accompanied with some traditional cajun bites. Bloody Mary's, Mimosas and beer to wash everything down. This will take place in a private setting at Bottinelli Place, a historic outdoor venue built in the 1930's. Don't be alarmed if the Cox Crawfish Boil of 2025 gets crashed by ghosts as the venue is sandwiched between two very old above ground old school New Orleans cemeteries. Feel free to wear white and be stylish, or just be casual and comfortable. We will have aprons for everyone so don't be shy about digging into a plate of freshly boiled crawfish.
