FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kirsty Stapledon and Christian Green
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline is 18th July 2026. If we don't receive your RSVP by this date, we cannot make exceptions and will have to mark you as a 'no'. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you understand.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate guests who are formally invited. If you've received a plus one they'll be specifically addressed within the subject line of the invite. Otherwise, we ask that only the named people in the invitation are in attendance. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we want you all to be present with us in the moment. We have a wonderful photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.

Question

When can I check in to the venue?

Answer

For guests staying onsite, check-in is available from 4pm on the wedding day. Luggage will be collected at reception upon arrival at 1pm and taken to your allocated room. Please arrive already dressed for the wedding, as changing facilities at the venue are limited. Let the team know if you need any help on arrival.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Deer Park has free onsite parking for guests (about 60–70 spaces). We recommend arriving a little early, especially over the Bank Holiday, to ensure a spot. If the car park fills up, there’s limited on-street parking nearby. For those who prefer not to drive, local taxis are available, including Sparky’s Taxis (01404 47670) and Horseshoe Taxis (01404 850800).

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We’re going for a formal garden party style. You can find full details on our Dress Code tab, including guidance for colours, outfit ideas, and what to expect for an outdoor summer ceremony.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 1:00 PM, but please plan to be at the venue at least 30 minutes before the ceremony begins to find your seat- especially with the expected Bank Holiday traffic.

Question

Is the ceremony/reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour are planned outdoors, with the reception indoors later in the evening. Weather permitting, we hope to enjoy the outdoors, so please dress with both options in mind.

Question

Will there be food options for dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes- Deer Park can cater for dietary requirements. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten‑free options are available on request. Just let us know when you RSVP, so they can tailor the menu to your needs.

Question

What time does the reception end?

Answer

The wedding celebrations are planned to finish around midnight.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No open bar, but don’t worry- we’ve got a welcome drink, your toast, and drinks with dinner covered!

Question

Do you have a gift list?

Answer

We’re so lucky to have you at our wedding- if you’d like to give a gift, we’d be thrilled with contributions towards our honeymoon.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

Venue rooms are for our nearest and dearest, but don’t worry-plenty of great places to stay nearby! See our Accommodation & Travel page for ideas.
