Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us.

Roberta R.

Matron of Honor

Roberta and I met on Giants Twitter in 2011. We took our fandom offline to meet IRL and we’ve never looked back. You know how sometimes you just click with someone from the start? That’s how it was with us. Over the years, Roberta has made me feel like family. From offering love and support sans judgement during difficult times, to welcoming me into her home for countless holidays together, she's always had my back. Fun fact: Roberta advised me against wearing my fanny pack on my first date with Chris (I wore it anyway). Where to find us: at a random Tuesday night Giants game, in the introverts' section.

Angela K.

Maid of Honor

Angela and I met through mutual friends waaaaay back in the aughts. She was my ride to a witchy New Year’s Eve gathering in Sausalito, and things have been amazingly intense ever since. From SF to LA to SF to Scotland, we’ve been there for each other. We’ve helped each other grow and evolve in ways we weren’t always sure were possible. Ange is my spiritual sister, and I can’t imagine my special day with her standing by my side. Where to find us: Howling with laughter taking selfies in her mother’s attic. Deep in a WhatsApp sesh, pontificating about the latest episode of Succession.

Radha K.

Bridesmaid

We met for the first time at an Arcade Fire/Built to Spill show at the Greek Theater in Berkeley. Some say making friends in middle age is challenging-to-impossible. But with Radha it felt effortless and joyous. I love that we’re both so unabashedly quirky and emotionally expressive. Radha brings out my silly and lighthearted side — and she’s taught me a thing or two about cooking and keeping plants alive. Where to find us: At a show! To date, we’ve seen Arcade Fire (multiple times), Depeche Mode, Lizzo, and Violent Femmes (literally on the even of the pandemic).

Heather S.

Bridesmaid

I knew of Heather from overlapping social circles for years before we became friends. Several years ago, I lucked out and got an invite to Heather and Fred's infamous annual White Elephant party. During the party, we bonded in the kitchen and became fast friends (finally). I have such fond memories of our epic walks all over Glen Park and Noe Valley — with baby M snoozing away in her stroller. Heather has the kindest heart (and deliciously dark sense of humor). Where to find us: Up in the hills, hitting 20K+ on our Fit Bits or having an impromptu dance party in Roberta's living room.
