We met in the prep kitchen of Corazon Del Mar on Nantucket. Kevin was the Chef, getting ready for that night's service and Christine was a newly hired hostess who had just arrived on island that day. An instant attraction between the two only got stronger the next day when Kevin showed up to staff meal in a Knicks hat and Christine in a Mets shirt. A few weeks later we had our first kiss at the Chicken Box after a Beastie Boys tribute show... and the rest is history.

January 2016 we were living in Charleston, SC. Poor Kevin planned a whole proposal involving a boat, dolphins and a light house. But what actually went down was so much better than I could have imagined (unusually cold weather got in the way). One Sunday morning we got up and I just felt like having one of those lazy, stay-your-pjs kind of days... not what Kevin had in mind. He tried everything to get me to go to the beach... it was like 10 degrees. He suggested we walk down the street to the famous Angel Oak tree. I wasn't having it. He went to the store to get the makings for a proper Sunday breakfast and I got to work making jewelry in our office. When he returned he couldn't wait any longer... he got down on one knee right there and brought me to tears with his heartfelt proposal. The words he said to me that morning were more beautiful than any backdrop he could have found for his proposal.

We can't wait to celebrate our love for each other, memories together and dreams for the future with you! We understand it's not the easiest place to get to... but that's part of the magic of Nantucket! We hope you can join us on the island where we met, fell in love and started our family.
