Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We will be listing the names of those invited on the invitation envelope. Unfortunately, we can't give every guest a plus one. A plus one will be listed on the invitation envelope as "and guest".

Are children invited?

Answer

One of the problems with getting married a little later in life is that all you guests have kids! We love them and want to see them, but there will be too many to have at the wedding. For that reason, this will be an age 9+ wedding. Local sitting options on Care.com or similar are available for those of you who want to bring them to Washington for your trip!

Will there be parking at the venue?

Answer

There will be plenty! Uber and Lyfts are also available and the venue is about 10 min from downtown Bellingham. Availability can be a bit tricky later in the night though!

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

We are hoping to have an outdoor ceremony (weather permitting) with cocktail hour/dinner/dancing in a large covered space that can be made indoor if need be, but we are hoping to keep big garage doors open (a little sweater or jacket might be a good idea). The ceremony is in the woods, about a 5 minute walk on a gravel path. Plan shoes accordingly! If needed, there is a golf cart for transport to and from the ceremony.

Will there be transport to and from the venue?

Answer

With no great central meeting place in town, and expecting that everyone's accommodation will be pretty spread out, we decided not to book any form of shuttle. Uber and Lyft are available and you'll be about 10-15 min from downtown Bellingham.
