We understand this is an unusual request when attending a wedding, however due to the unique nature of our wedding venue, it is required. Our venue is actually someone's home, so the waiver ensures safety between all parties. The castle sits on a large property of lush fields of grass, rivers, ponds and trees. The waiver outlines an agreement of respecting their policies and procedures, mostly in regard to ensuring safety. Our valet service will handle the waiver upon your arrival to the venue. Please contact us directly if you'd like to see the waiver beforehand and/or have any further questions.
We suggest guests plan to arrive around 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony.
We kindly ask you RSVP at least 1 month prior to the wedding. However, the sooner the better!
Formal/Cocktail attire is preferred. We kindly ask you avoid jeans/khakis and sundresses. Our venue is a castle and has quite of bit of grass and some uneven cobble stone. Please consider this when choosing your footwear.
We cannot accommodate a plus one unless it is listed on your invitation.
Shuttles will be provided for guests to and from the hotel (Hyatt House Denver/Lakewood at Belmar) and venue. Shuttles with leave the hotel at 3:15 pm. Shuttles will take guests back to the hotel at 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm.
It is hard to predict the weather but generally August tends to be quite hot in Denver area. However, our venue is nestled in the bottom of a cavern and surrounded by fields of grass, ponds and trees. This helps reduce the heat so you will need a coverup as it begins to cool down in early afternoon. So, don't let the hot weather in Denver fool you! In case of rain, we will have indoor accommodations.
As you all know, we both love children, but this will be a child-free wedding.
There is valet parking at the venue, however we highly recommend taking the shuttle to avoid driving through the mountain roads at night.
