It's Wedding Time!

Like most modern love stories, we met on a dating app. Hinge to be exact. The year was 2020... just a couple months before a world-wide pandemic would hit. We met for dinner on a Friday night in Tampa, FL at Oak & Ola and before we knew it, we were riding tandem on an electric scooter (highly advise against this) heading for a late-night drink and dancing at Soho Saloon. Around this time, Chris was meant to move on to his next location with the Coast Guard but had been granted a year extension, which meant we could explore a relationship together. When the year was up, we put San Francisco at the top of the list and, as fate would have it, it's exactly where we ended up. We packed up our Prius and Pomeranians to drive across the country in the summer of 2021. We quickly fell in love with NorCal and spent the next three years hiking, eating at amazing restaurants, ferrying to Sausalito, and exploring the beautiful California coast. It was in the city by the Bay that we shared our first home together, hosted friends and family, and created some of our best life memories (so far!). In May 2024, we took our first international trip together, and Chris proposed in a picturesque town on a sunny day in Switzerland. Now we're off to our next journey, heading out to southwest Louisiana and have to say goodbye to our beloved city. We can't imagine a better place to host our wedding and we are so excited to bring our closest family and friends together to experience it with us. Cheers!
