FAQs

Question

Will I be able to get around without speaking Spanish?

Answer

Of course! Mexico City is an international city, where many languages are spoken. The hotel staff at the Marriott speak English, there are many who speak English at the airport, and you can always ask the hotel or airport to order you a taxi/driver who is English speaking. Beyond that, we recommend translation apps to communicate.

Question

How can I get around while in the city?

Answer

We recommend ordering a taxi and/or private driver from the concierge desk at the Hotel. You can even ask if they can accommodate an English speaking driver!

Question

What about the water in Mexico?

Answer

We do not recommend drinking water from a tap during your trip (although we do not recommend drinking tap water in general). That being said, it is perfectly safe to shower in, and even brush your teeth! The hotel will supply water bottles and replenish them every time they clean your room. It is always good practice to check which bottles in the room are complimentary and which are available for a small fee.
