It was Memorial Day Weekend, 11 years ago. A fateful meeting in a New York Sports bar changed the course of both our lives. Eleni was new to New York City, and in a bid to immerse herself in the culture, found herself in a Hell's Kitchen sports bar, attempting to understand American sports. Luckily on the bar stool next to her was Chris, who was more than happy to assist. We spent almost every day of that Summer together. While Eleni did ultimately return to Australia, fate would intervene again, reuniting us back in New York over five years later. This year on the 11th anniversary of when we first met, we are excited to be getting married in the city that first brought us together, and where we have built our home.
