At Lumière, long tailored pants and closed-toe shoes are required for men. For a number of restaurants and bars, no sleeveless shirts, wet clothing, uncovered swimwear, bare feet or water shoes are allowed.
If you feel inclined to tip, we would encourage it as the staff here are wonderful and will go above and beyond. We’d recommend bringing small bills with you as we recommend tipping the staff throughout. As a general rule of thumb, we typically tip $1 per drink and between $5 – $10 per meal depending on the time of day. The amount of tip that you leave is all personal preference especially because you’ve graciously spent so much to join us on our big day, but we would encourage tipping as you are willing and able.
We would encourage pulling out cash before you get onto property as there are fees to withdraw cash/ currency conversion fees and only so much cash can be withdrawn a day. Therefore, we would recommend having at least $150.00 per person in cash on you as you arrive to the resort in case you wish to spend money on tips or an excursion or spa service in supplement of the credits provided to you to spend towards this end.
Your Butler provides a variety of services, including, but not limited to: 1. Unpacking all of your clothes and hanging them up (if requested) 2. Booking all of your reservations (eg. Dinners, Spa, Excursions, Activities, Hydrotherapy) 3. Aromatherapy Sprays before bed 4. Special Pillows 5. Romantic Bath 6. Special Soaps
Take control of your vacation by downloading the Le Blanc Spa Resorts App and facilitate your arrival with pre-arrival check-in features, browse restaurant and spa offerings, and much more. We would recommend utilizing your Butler to ask questions and book reservations but the app is a good way to search generally the activities going on that day before requesting that your Butler book the restaurants, spa services, activities, room service, etc.

In order of formality: 1) Blanc Ocean offers a sit-down breakfast menu. Where is it located: Blanc Ocean is located on the first floor, outside and immediately across from the pool. Is a reservation required: No Blanc Ocean is known for its signature French Toast, and also includes some lighter options. I would recommend Blanc Ocean for breakfast if you are looking to be served overlooking the Sea of Cortez (because the location is everything) 2) Mezze offers a traditional Lebanese breakfast on Monday mornings which is absolutely to die for if you are adventurous and love to eat rich, ethnic foods. Plus they will serve you authentic, strong Lebanese coffee via hot sand. Where is it located: The easiest way to locate Mezze is to go to the main lobby elevators, proceed down to Floor 1. Walk straight towards the pool exit, and exit the doors outside. Mezze is two restaurants to the left. Is a reservation required: Strongly recommended 3) International offers a buffet-style breakfast with unlimited options. Where is it located: The easiest way to locate International is to go to the main lobby elevators, proceed down to Floor 1. Walk straight towards the pool exit, and International will be on the right at the very end of the hall. Is a reservation required: No 4) Blanc Cafe is a luxurious coffee shop on the fifth floor more like a French patisserie with a coffee shop, with pastries and breakfast sandwiches. 5) Take advantage, this is your vacation too, there is 24-7 room service. If you want to relax in bed, order breakfast from any of these restaurants by contacting your Butler or view your breakfast options via your TV and dial for room service.
1) Taco Cart- There is a taco cart that is perched beside the main pool area for the day. The cart offers some delicious chicken and steak tacos and are the perfect pool-time snack. The guac here is unreal. 2) Churro Cart- At around 2:00 P.M.- 3:00 P.M., a churro cart will setup by the main pool area. These are hands down the best churros we have ever experienced. They are a must-have. Period. 3) Blanc Ocean - This restaurant is outside, overlooking the Sea of Cortez, and offers authentic Mexican seafood. 4) Blanc Pizza - This restaurant is indoors on the first floor, and offers incredible Italian inspired dishes. A personal favorite of ours is their Baked Brie!
One of our favorite spots to grab a drink in the evening time is the terrace area which is located just off the main reception. The terrace area has multiple floors to it. Walk down one floor to the Blanc Fire which is a really great place to grab a drink. There is live music in the evenings and a full bar. There are a number of fire pits that make it really atmospheric. If a sports bar is your thing, there are TVs positioned in every piece of wall space here playing all US and UK sports. This is the perfect spot to grab a pint, take in some sports, and play pool.
As with the majority of resorts in Cabos San Lucas, the beach here is not a swimmable one. The current at the beach is too strong and swimming is not permitted due to safety risks. The stretch of the beach itself is really nice and the resort does put out sun loungers and umbrellas, so you can still relax on the beach with the same full drink and food service that is available by the pool.
The tap water at the Le Blanc is sadly not drinkable. There is no filtration system in place at the resort. So, if you are looking for drinking water we recommend that you drink bottled water.
While the Le Blanc Los Cabos does a superb job in the safety and preparation of its food, we would still recommend that guests stay away from uncooked foods like raw fish, uncooked, vegetables, salads, ceviches, and the like. Salads and other uncooked vegetables may have been washed with water from Mexico that our bodies are not accustomed to. Eating raw or undercooked fish/ meats is also risky while not exclusive to Mexico.
If you become unwell at the Le Blanc for any reason, there is an on-site medical staff and doctor that will come to your room to assess you. You can request the doctor come to your room by contacting your butler. One of the reasons that it is important to have cash on hand is in the unfortunate instance that you get sick. The pharmacy will require cash payments.
