B&C NYC Guidebook
Hudson River Park — Spend a few hours walking or Citi-biking along Hudson River. Starting north at 70th st, a pier juts out into the Hudson with your first view of the skyline. In the 70th-55th st section, stumble on a train locomotive and giant wine bottle. Reach our home Pier 84 at 43rd Street with the Intrepid aircraft carrier. Further downtown, Pier 63 at 23rd Street is our go-to for sunbathing, 13th street houses Little Island, and all the way down at Pier 26, we got engaged with the skyline is in full show.
West Village — Daytime shopping on Bleecker Street, coffee or cocktail at Bar Pisellino, gelato from Gelateria Gentile, a night at The Duplex, a piano bar with live music each evening.
Central Park — Just wander and get lost. Find a quiet shaded path, bring a book for a bench or lawn, watch some people, listen to street musicians, eat a pretzel or crepe.
Bonus: Moynihan Train Hall Sculpture — At the 31st Street entry, look up to see an upside-down NYC skyline installation.
