If you’re flying into JFK, the easiest option is to take the AirTrain to Jamaica Station, then transfer to the LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) to Penn Station. The Holiday Inn Express is less than a 10-minute walk from Penn Station. If you’re flying into Newark, it’s easiest to take an Uber, but you can also take the AirTrain to the Newark Airport Station and transfer to NJ Transit to Penn Station (note that trains from Newark to Penn run less frequently). If you’re flying into LaGuardia, take an Uber.
