Ceremony and Reception

5:00 pm - 9:45 pm

Our Venue has changed, but will remain in the same area. We will share details soon.

In the Nahuatl language there is a word, apapachar, which means “to embrace with the soul.” That is the spirit of this gathering. A small circle outdoors, good food, and the people who have walked beside us through many seasons of life. Guests may arrive beginning at 4:30 PM to mingle and settle in. Infused water will be waiting as you arrive. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. We’ll linger together with light appetizers from 5:30–6:30 PM before dinner and the rest of the evening’s celebration. Come as you are! Wear whatever makes YOU feel like your most authentic self. Ask yourself: what do I want to wear? and then wear that! note: the entire evening will be outdoors. August afternoons can be warm, so comfortable shoes, hats, or parasols are welcome. We’re grateful to gather, share a meal, and celebrate together under the open sky.
