When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress in cocktail or garden attire—think formal dresses and suits or soft spring vibes like floral prints, pastels, etc. Our theme is elegant and fresh, but most of all, wear what makes you feel comfortable!

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the best gift of all! But if you'd like to contribute, we've set up a honeymoon fund for our dream trip to Greece. You can find the details on our Registry page.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, and we kindly ask guests to arrive between 4:00 and 4:15 PM to find their seats and get settled before we begin.

Is there guest parking at the venue?

Answer

While guests cannot park directly at the Creek Club, there is an event parking lot at the front of the road. Guests are also welcome to use street parking if available. The event parking lot is on the same road as the venue (right at the start of the road, you must pass the parking lot to get to the venue). There will be a security guard to direct guests to the event parking lot. Also, a golf cart shuttle will be provided to take guests from the parking lot to the venue entrance.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have two hotel blocks reserved, which you can find on our Travel page. We also recommend StayDuvet home rentals, or getting an AirBnB for larger groups.

Why did you pick South Carolina?

Answer

We chose South Carolina because most of our loved ones are spread out, so a destination wedding made sense. Amber has fond memories of family vacations in Myrtle Beach, which drew us to the state. We initially toured venues there but took a spontaneous trip to Charleston/Mount Pleasant—and instantly fell in love. It had everything we wanted: charm, history, a relaxed vibe, and amazing food. Chris loves that it’s still 'yeehaw' but with a laidback Southern feel!
