Chris and Mariana first connected through mutual interests and began talking, and from the very beginning, their conversations just clicked. They were messaging back and forth and video calling for months until Chris finally booked his first flight to Guadalajara, Mexico, where Mariana was waiting for him at the international arrival gate. Since then, they have been visiting each other every month for the past year and a half. Then, in January of 2025, Chris finally popped the question with an engagement ring and a prepared speech—leaving Mariana in emotional, happy tears as she said, “Yes!” Chris y Mariana se conocieron gracias a intereses en común y comenzaron a platicar; desde el principio, su conexión fue instantánea.
