We will start asking for RSVPs in June.
Our reception will be at Slate at II Creeks Venue Center in Richardson. 2701 Custer Pkwy, Richardson TX 75080
Of course, as long as you RSVP by the deadline and include them in your RSVP.
We welcome and encourage you to bring your kids! There will be activities available for them at the reception - we just ask that when you RSVP you include the number and age of younger guests you’ll be bringing along so we can accommodate accordingly.
We will have a great selection of South Indian and Mexican food, but please let us know your dietary restrictions and we will do our very best to accommodate you. We will need to know about dietary restrictions no later than July 1st on your RSVP.
We ask that our guests dress in modest semi-formal attire out of respect for the ceremony and the St. Alphonsa Syro-Malabar Catholic community.
We encourage everyone to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony. There will be confession and a group rosary available before Mass.
We are registered at multiple stores. To make things easier for everyone, we have compiled all of our items on Zola.
No, we will not be serving alcohol at the reception. In addition, we kindly request that you do not bring any alcoholic drinks.
Yes, we are a Catholic Church. We are an eastern Syrian rite, instituted by St. Thomas the Apostle. We encourage all those who have not experienced the Syro-Malabar Catholic rite to explore the church and its rich history! You can read more about it here: https://stthomasdiocese.org/about-the-syro-malabar-church/
Absolutely not! Anyone and everyone is welcome to witness our celebration! Please note however that receiving communion (the small wafer distributed by the priest) during the ceremony is reserved for practicing Catholics as it is a profession of faith and a sign of our unity with the global Catholic community and our faith in Jesus Christ.
