REAL ID: Do I need to update my Driver's License?

Answer

YES! Don't wait to update your Driver's License to REAL ID, as you won't be able to board domestic flights without it. The deadline to obtain your REAL ID is May 7, 2025.

Are there nonstop flights from NYC?

Answer

YES! JetBlue and/or Alaska Airlines flies nonstop to Palm Springs from JFK Airport. There are also many 1 stop options from every major airport to get you directly to Palm Springs. If flying into LAX, it is only a 2 hour drive away.

Are children welcome?

Although we love your kids, children at this event are limited to immediate family and the wedding party only.

What should I wear?

Answer

Desert Chic: While this is not a traditional wedding, we encourage sophisticated, heat friendly attire. Please remember we are going to be in the desert at a poolside venue. We recommend linens, lightweight cotton, vests, summer cocktail dresses, etc. Light and colorful. Please note: The key wedding colors are fuchsia and orange and the groom's men are wearing sand/khaki (brownish linen). Staying away from solid fuchsia or dark pinks (or any dark colors) would be preferred. xo

Where should we stay?

Answer

The host venue, The Cole Hotel, is fully booked for the Wedding Party and immediate family. For all other guests, we have a room block secured at L3 Oasis, 1 block away from the wedding location. Their website is: www.L3oasishotel.com Once on the website, simply click on the "BOOK NOW" button to proceed with the reservation. Next, click on the "Do you have a group code?" option. Once the screen prompts you, enter your unique code: PCWD PLEASE NOTE: This rate is only held until May 15th, 2025 and can be used to extend your trip up to 3 days before or after our wedding weekend. If you choose to extend, please contact the hotel directly and they will honor the price and book accordingly.

What is the photo etiquette at the wedding?

While we appreciate all photos, and sharing our favorite shots, we are more interested in having all guests engaged during the ceremony. We ask you to live in the moment with us. We hired a very talented photographer to capture the special moments. With this said, we highly encourage you to take as many photos as you'd like on your personal devices and/or the cameras provided on-site during all other times. Have fun with it, make us blush, and enjoy all that is offered. Share your favorite photos with the hashtag #PSitschrisandkeith.

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

YES! There is a parking lot with plenty of parking for everyone. However, it is walkable from the secondary hotel, and Uber/Lyfts are an easy way to get around.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

YES! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at The Cole Hotel in Palm Springs. We will be gathered in the common area/pool area of the hotel for the whole evening. No relocation will be necessary.

Can I stay longer than the weekend?

Answer

YES! We are negotiating with both hotels to extend the discounted room block rate for 1-3 days beyond the wedding weekend dates. We also encourage you to look into Airbnbs if you want a different experience.

Will Chris & Keith be available outside of the wedding weekend?

Answer

YES! We plan on spending Thursday - Tuesday in Palm Springs. If you are around, let us know and we would love to have some one-on-one time with you.

Other miscellaneous tips

Answer

- Drink PLENTY of water throughout your time with us. The desert is dry and it is easy to dehydrate. - Bring sunscreen (remember to re-apply!), lip balm, and other cosmetics (we recommend saline nasal spray to avoid drying out). - It's a marathon, not a race. Pace your substance consumption so you can enjoy your time to the fullest. - Get out and explore!
