This annual arts festival in Allentown is just a couple miles from the church where we'll be getting married!
Katy used to work here in high school, and while she may never go back after that summer, it's certainly a fun way to spend the day!

Allentown is under an hour from the City of Brotherly Love. Check out the Historic District and visit the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, and Elfreth's Alley, grab a cheesesteak, and run up the Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art!
Allentown is 1.5-2.5 hours from NYC (depending on traffic), so it's a very doable day trip! Check out Bieber Bus for an easy way to get into the city without worrying about parking.
Visit the Appalachian Trail for one of the Lehigh Valley's most popular hikes! The Pinnacle is a beautiful overlook, and you can certainly just do an out-and-back, or find another trail that passes by the Pinnacle.
Bethlehem is just down the road from Allentown, and has a great downtown full of shops, restaurants, bars, and a brewery (Fegley's Brew Works). It's a great place to spend the evening strolling around.
Bethlehem SteelStacks is an old factory turned into a casino with outlet shopping and great food!
The Lehigh Parkway runs a 6 mile loop along a stream, and starts and finishes at a trout nursery. Katy grew up feeding the fish at the trout nursery, and the parkway is still her favorite place for a run!
Quarry turned into a waterpark with huge inflatable, climbable icebergs! Admission also includes a ropes course.
Great spot for a hike with some wildlife! The Lehigh Valley Zoo is located within the park.
Best ice cream in the Lehigh Valley! They also have great creatively flavored milk, like raspberry and orange.
