Best Man
Tim is Chris' brother and partner-in-crime when they were growing up together. Only two years apart, they were either inseparable (playing sports, video games, board games, etc.) or fighting (both very competitive kids, the games often ended in disputes) when they were younger. As they both aged (like fine wines) and matured (questionable), their brotherly relationship grew stronger, fuelled by many common interests (sports, beer, juvenile comedies, etc.). Chris was Tim's best man at his wedding, and Tim now gets to return the favour of being best man at Chris' wedding
Matron of Honor
Rose is Judy's bestie from work. Judy first met Rose at Clayton Utz when they were both baby lawyers. They immediately became each other's 'evil twin' based on a mutual love of Disney music, American Idol, Celine Dion and Karaoke. They even shared an apartment together in 2013, before Rose moved to Abu Dhabi to become a rock star lawyer in the Middle East. Rose is a "honey badger" in all aspects of life, a tiny person with a fierce spirit and personality, unafraid to tell it as it is. In 2017, Judy was Rose's Maid of Honour at her fairy tale wedding in Austria. Now, Judy is god mother to Rose's baby boy, Leo.
Groomsman
Chris and Cameron have been friends since childhood. They were born 1-day apart and they grew up in Hurstbridge together, where they lived across the road from each other and have fond memories of riding bikes around the block and swinging on the (dangerous but fun) tree rope in Cam's back yard. Cam and Chris have had many amazing global adventures, including living together in South America and travelling around Croatia for their 40th birthday celebration. Cam will also be the MC at the wedding and is looking forward to meeting you all.
Bridesmaid
Emi (or "Benny", the Ben Affleck to Judy's "Matty" / Matt Damon) is Judy's bestie from high school. Emi and Judy could not be more opposite. Emi is tall while Judy is short. Emi is sporty while Judy is bookish. Emi can drink a pint, while Judy will faint after half a glass of wine. But they have been inseparable since they were 12 years old and chat daily, notwithstanding living 9 hours (by flight) apart. Emi is a trained speech therapist having previously worked a number of years in Singapore, before moving to Tokyo to teach English to Japanese students. Emi is god mum to Dashiell.
Groomsman
Mark and Chris are best friends from High School, where they sat next to each other on the first day and immediately became mates. They were inseparable through High School, where they would play basketball (aspiring to be the next Michael Jordan), play video games (aspiring to be race car drivers in Daytona), watch movies (aspiring to be Tom Cruise from Top Gun), and listen to rap music (aspiring to be Vanilla Ice). After High School, Mark and his family moved to Santiago in Chile, and Chris and Mark kept in touch over email. After Chris finished University, he went to Chile to visit Mark and travel around South America. Then in 2010, Chris moved to Chile and they started a night club business together, which was the adventure of a life time. Amigos para siempre!
Bridesmaid
Joline is Judy's bestie from law school. They first met each other in a law school lecture, when they discovered their mutual obsession for Taiwanese pop music and Mariah Carey. Joline is one of the brainiest people Judy has ever met. With a photographic memory, an ability to play music by ear, and the culinary talents of Nigella Lawson, Joline is a Renaissance woman of the 21st century. She now extends her talents to trading commodities, stocks and ETFs. Joline lives in Hong Kong, but is both an Australian and an American citizen (back up countries if Hong Kong goes any more pear shape).
Ring Bearer
Dashiell is Chris and Judy's baby sausage dog. He is a graduate of puppy pre-school and the master of puppy training program. His favourite snacks are duck jerky and soup bones. In his spare time, he loves getting into his dad's slipper collection and destroying just one out of a pair. His favourite movie is the 'secret life of pets'.
