Are the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

No, the ceremony is at Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston (555 Tallowood Rd, Houston, TX 77024) and the reception is about 25 minutes away at Bayou City Fellowship Church - Cypress (12715 Telge Rd, Cypress, TX 77429). NOTE: there are 3 Bayou City Fellowship locations - the reception is at the Cypress location.

What is the timeline for the wedding events?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 3:30 pm at Tallowood Baptist Church in Houston (directions on the wedding website). Our reception will be from 5:30-10:30 pm at Bayou City Fellowship Church (about 25 minutes from the ceremony site - directions on website). Check out the "Schedule" tab for more specific information.

Am I allowed to bring my children? Is childcare provided?

Answer

We love kids - this is a family friendly wedding! There is no childcare provided, but we'll have kid-friendly activities during the reception. However, if you want to make it a date night, feel free to do so (please let us know when you RSVP). Your children should be listed on the invitation you receive in the mail. If not, please contact us to see if we have room for them to join us.

Can I bring my plus-one?

Answer

Please refer to your wedding invitation - if a plus-one is included, it will be listed there. But if you have a significant other not listed, reach out to us to see if there's room.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Yes, semi-formal. For us, that means men can wear a suit, or nice slacks and shirt. Women can wear a dress, a pantsuit or slacks and blouse. Please no casual wear - including jeans, shorts or flips flops.

Will there be food, and if so, will there be accommodations for those who have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes, dinner will be served during the reception. We'll have gluten free and dairy free options available, but won't have foods specifically designated as "sugar free". Please let us know on the RSVP form if you have any dietary restrictions.

Will alcohol be served at the wedding?

Answer

No, we will not be serving alcohol at the wedding.

How/when do I RSVP for the wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask you to RSVP by March 1st, 2026. You can do it here on this site. There's an RSVP tab on the menu. Please let us know if you're able to attend, and include your family on the RSVP form.

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

Yes, we are registered through Amazon, West Elm, Target, Pottery Barn and Crate and Barrel. Look under our names - Emily Dunn and Christopher Block, wedding date April 11, 2026. But you can find our registry on this site. Just click on the "Registry" tab in the menu.

Is there a place to stay close to the wedding ceremony or reception venues?

Answer

Yes, we have a list of hotels close by both venues in case you need recommendations. Please check out our "Travel" tab on the website.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be parking available at the front (south) parking lot at Tallowood Baptist Church for the ceremony. For the reception at Bayou City Fellowship Cypress, there is a large parking lot to the left when you drive down the gravel road and follow the signs to our wedding.
