Travel Note
There are plenty of hotel options, the ones we're suggesting are just a few. There are lots of motels and smaller hotels in the Marina area, close to the wedding-day events. If you're in town for a few days and want to explore the city more, then check around! The city really isn't that big. Just be sure to leave time for traffic if you end up staying across town. Lodging in the East Bay is also a great option. Oakland, Berkeley, and Albany are all Bart-able into the city, just takes factoring in travel time. There's plenty to explore on both sides of the Bay, so you can't really go wrong!
Hotel
Close to all the wedding action and a more economical option if you don't mind the dormitory set-up for a few days, this spot offers both larger rooms for regular rates of $180-200, and dorm-style sleeping options in the $50-60 range.
Hotel
Rooms: $210-range We don't have a block here, but it's another good option that is in the neighborhood.
Hotel
This location is not right by our venues, but it's a great central spot in the city if you're extending your stay to explore, and a funky, cool hotel with a great lounge area.
Hotel
Nice spot out by the ocean, Sutro Baths, the Cliff House, and Lands End; $180-220/night, free garage parking available
Travel Note
Renting a car in the city can be more headache than it's worth - finding parking, paying for parking, and making sure not to keep ANYTHING, valuable or not, in your car. If you need a car, then it's possible, but PLEASE make sure to take all your precious things with you. Car break-ins happen all over the City. We suggest using Lyft or Uber, as they are always available in San Francisco, no matter what hour; we do not have the cab scene secured like New York does, but there are also cabs available. If you need help downloading the Lyft/Uber app, arranging rides, or finding other guests to share rides with, please let us know - we'd rather connect people and let you save a bit of dough and share some transit time!
