Walk around Lands End, Sutro Baths, The Cliff House, and make sure to stop by the Camera Obscura! It has been owned and run by Aly's grandma's neighbors for ____ years and is a funny little treasure of the City.
Walk across America’s most iconic piece of public infrastructure to the Marin headlands and/or go up to the Headlands at night to see a classic, grand view of the San Francisco (or a whole lot of fog...)
May still have residual odor from events a couple days before, but go adventure! Walk the rose garden, see the museums, find the dude leading roller-skate dance, enjoy the botanical gardens, or just meander through the green!
One of the most trendy-yet-enduring spots for fellow garden-enthusiasts! This nursery, opened in 1947, is a lovely little adventure for a coffee and a pleasant morning among the plants. Also the best kind of souvenirs can be purchased here, all sorts of cute little plants and pots.
Wander around Haight-Ashbury and end up at Amoeba - the first place Chris walked across the city to in order to meet Aly and go through Golden Gate Park.
MMMMMMMMMMMMM! Burritos.
A MUST! Get the Swiss Orange Chip, if it even remotely intrigues you. It's....heaven. Really, you can't go wrong there, it's ice-cream for pete's sake. Unless you get rum-raisin. But hey, if that's your favorite flavor, more for you...we shan't shun you.
An absolute favorite for drinks and ambiance.
One of the best spots - BAR NONE - for a classic, delicious, Italian deli sandwich. It can be best summed up by the black and white photo over the register, of a small boy handing a dry salami to Pope John Paul II with the title "A worthy gift"
May be a long wait, but if you're not in a rush to eat and have time to tootle around Clement street (highly recommended!) then put your name on the list and get ready for a fantastic meal.
An enjoyable example of a well-renovated building; it's a beautiful, skylit gallery, and a nice walk along the bay. Some pricey treats, but a roll from Acme Bread is only about $1 and is very worth a trip.
They only take cash. They serve 5 kinds of pizza. They have pints for cheap. And if you can't find a seat, then tough; down a slice while you walk! Our most frequented pizza spot in the city, for the tin-can, no bullsh*t, sticker-covered, down-to-earth slice. Just ask Phil Sweeney; he'll point you to the clam & garlic.
