We will have some children celebrating with us, but we are unfortunately unable to invite everyone's little ones due to space limits. If your children are invited, their names will be specifically listed on your wedding invitation envelope.
Yes, getting a ride is very easy! The venue is located on the main Larnaca-Dhekelia coast road, which is highly accessible. The Easiest Option: We highly recommend downloading the Bolt app (the European equivalent of Uber) before you arrive. It works perfectly in Larnaca, lets you see the price upfront, link your card, and track your driver right to Galu Seaside. Local Taxi Services: If you prefer a traditional local taxi, you can easily call or WhatsApp local providers like: iTaxi Cyprus (+357 9669 1004), Taxi Oroklini (+357 99 607802), George Cyprus Taxi (+357 97 526936), Akropolis Taxi Stavrakis (+357 2465 2531) or Andreas Makris (+357 9922 6820). Outdoors! Although we are marrying in a church, our reception will take place at the beautiful Galu Seaside venue in Larnaca. You’ll be able to enjoy the gorgeous Cyprus sunshine and the sea breeze right by the Mediterranean. A quick tip for the ladies: While the venue is right on the coast, the guest areas are fully paved/decked, so you don't need to worry about walking on open sand.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if you would like to honour us with a gift, we are leaning into the Greek Cypriot roots with a traditional Money Dance later in the evening. Rather than buying boxed gifts, guests traditionally pin money onto the newlyweds while they dance to help them build their future together. P.S. For our UK guests, you can leave your Euros in your wallet! British Pounds (£) are vastly preferred as it makes it much easier for us to take home without having to visit the currency exchange. We kindly request no boxed gifts.
Yes and yes! We will be served a delicious, extensive dinner buffet crafted by Galu's chefs. The menu will feature a mix of authentic Mediterranean dishes, local flavors, and international favorites - so there will be plenty of options for everyone. We are also having an open bar for the duration of the celebration! You’ll be able to enjoy a selection of cocktails, local spirits, local beers, and wines. Note: If you have any specific dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know when you RSVP so we can ensure the chefs accommodate you.
Our reception venue is practically just down the road from the church, roughly a 6 to 8-minute drive. Guests can easily carpool, use a local taxi service, or call a quick ride via the Bolt app to head straight to the venue as soon as we have finished taking photos!
The party wraps up at 2:00AM! Make sure you're wearing your dancing shoes—we plan to celebrate right up until the final song!
We kindly ask that you keep your phones and cameras turned off and tucked away during our ceremony. We’ve hired an amazing professional photographer to capture the moment, and we want to see your lovely faces, not your screens! However, once the ceremony is over and the party starts at Galu Seaside, please take as many photos and videos as you like! We’ll have a QR code where you can easily upload all your photos and videos from the night straight to our digital album.
