It all started at Lewis’s birthday drinks. Even though Chloe already knew some of Reece’s friends, their paths had somehow never crossed, until that night. Reece’s version of flirting? Playfully calling Chloe "frigid" when she dared to suggest it was time to go home instead of staying for just one more drink. Clearly, his unique charm worked wonders, because we quickly realized we were two peas in a pod, bonding over our love for a cold pint at the pub, hunting down the best foodie spots, and raving to heavy drum and bass. Our official first date truly set the bar for the rest of our lives: a trip to the cinema to watch A Quiet Place, followed by a strictly high-class dinner at... McDonald’s. (Hey, a true foodie appreciates a good nugget!). From that moment on, Reece began a stealth mission, slowly and sneakily moving his belongings into Chloe’s shared house bit by bit until he was officially part of the furniture. Before he could change his mind, he was whisked away to Cyprus to face the ultimate test: meeting Chloe’s Bappou. Luckily, Reece passed with flying colors. 2022 was a massive year for us; we officially got our own place together and welcomed our absolute world—our fur baby, Ralph. Since then, our life together has been a perfect mix of pub dates with Ralph, enjoying a shared love for Star Wars, and surviving Reece’s unhealthy obsession with Michael Jackson. Finally, in 2024, came the moment Reece had been planning. During a dream holiday to the Dominican Republic, he took Chloe down to the beach at sunset, dropped to one knee, and asked her to marry him. The Force was strong with us that night, and through the tears, Chloe obviously said a massive YES! After all the movie dates, pub trips, and standard bickering over who is feeding Ralph, we are finally making this official. We are so incredibly excited to start this next chapter as husband and wife. We can’t wait to celebrate, laugh, and dance the night away with our absolute favourite people.
