We officially "met" in August 2020 over Zoom during our first class of History of Mathematics. Little did we know it would start the History of Us <3 By some divine intervention, we ended up on each other's Tinder carousel and both swiped right. That quickly turned into lots of texts, calls, and Zooms that would start with recounting the life stories of mathematicians and then easily devolve into personal stories and little quirks that would soon become our favorite things about each other. Finally, Miranda came back to a vaccinated John Carroll campus where we got to integrate our lives and fall even more head over heels for each other. Even after spending all our time together, we never got sick of each other. Once Chloe graduated, our time together was unfortunately limited to weekends in Miranda's tiny RA dorm room. We filled our time with silly TV, takeout food and becoming us. Weekends being our only time together continued for the next two years. Those two years were jam-packed with Miranda starting her PhD program, Chloe getting her Master’s degree and us becoming aunties together. Finally, in August 2024 we moved into an apartment together to start building the life we have talked about ad nauseam. On March 14th, 2025 (yes, π day), we planned a double proposal on the most uncharacteristically warm, beautiful day in mid-March. Now, we are loving our fiancée era along with our cat mom era with our newest addition Maisie Mae!!!! Our days are filled with kitty snuggles and lots of planning toward our day of love and celebration coming so soon!!! We are ecstatic to be surrounded by our loved ones who have always and will always support us!!
