Jose Tequilas Mexican Grill and Bar
Oh my gosh, Garin and I can not recommend this place enough! They have our favorite margaritas and the best customer service. Margaritas and great food- What else could you possibly need?
USS Wisconsin BB-64
Me and Chloe were lucky enough to visit the Wisconsin during the holidays, but we are sure it is still super interesting to see other times too. This ship was in World War II as well as the Korean war. The museum lets you see the berthings, galley, and a few other cool places on the boat. We both enjoyed our visit!
Waterside District
This food hall is a favorite for me and Garin! There's a Blue Moon taproom that we love, but there is also a fudge shop, a bar in the middle, and a few other restaurants that we haven't tried yet. We love the atmosphere this hall has and enjoy hanging out with friends here!
Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center
This aquarium is fantastic. We visited the day after Garin got back from deployment and we were not at all disappointed. It was a great time. There is a great nature walk connecting two buildings with different exhibits. You get to touch stingrays and jellyfish too! If you know me (Chloe), you know I am all about conservation, so i'm absolutely going to recommend an institution working towards such a great cause.
Coalescence Coffee Company
Chloe adores this coffee shop. This is a nonprofit built on community gathering. The atmosphere is welcoming and light allowing you to easily get lost in conversation or in a good book. Everything on their menu is fantastic!
