Our wedding is an inclusive event where our guests should feel welcome and safe no matter their background. Discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated in the slightest because it has no place at a celebration of love (or any other place for that matter). If this is not something that can be managed, we ask that you stay home.
More information will be available when we send out the official invitations. We are hoping to give as many plus ones as possible to our guests; however, weddings are expensive, so we are also trying to stay within our budget. Our wedding will also have a seating chart, so we will be unable to accommodate unexpected guests.
Please note that our wedding will be a formal event, and we kindly request that all guests attend in formal attire. We want everyone to be part of the special atmosphere, so please dress to impress! Unfortunately, guests in casual wear may not be able to join the celebration. This means no jeans or T-shirts. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation—we can’t wait to see you there!
For our traveling guests, we recommend being in the area at least one day prior. We ask that guests arrive to the venue 30-45 minutes before the ceremony starts.
Luckily, the venue has a valet service that we will be using for our event! There will be alcoholic beverages at the reception, so please plan accordingly. We want our guests to have fun, but please do so responsibly.
Yes! Children will be allowed at both the ceremony and the reception as long as the invitation has indicated they are invited. However, there will be alcoholic beverages at the reception. Not all parents want their children seeing alcohol, but unfortunately that is not something Garin and I are going to accommodate.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside in the courtyard of the venue. The reception will be held inside the event hall.
Our wedding will be an unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from taking your own pictures during this time. There will be more grace during the reception, but please be mindful of the photographer. The last thing we want is to get our wedding pictures back with a dozen phones out, so please be aware!
Yes! Beer, wine, and a select few cocktails will be provided at no charge to our guests.
