Question

For our campers

Answer

Primitive sites have already been reserved for our guests who wish to camp with us. These sites are located in the same gated area as our wedding ceremony site. RVs are also absolutely welcome, but folks with RVs will need to reserve privately through the Rockcastle Riverside Hipcamp website. These RV sites are adjacent to the primitive sites. Campers, our check out time is 11:00 am, Sunday! Please make sure your campsite is packed up and personal trash is disposed of in cans located in areas around our site by 11:00 am. If you are new to the camping experience and don't know where to start, here's what we suggest bringing for the most comfortable experience: Tent (If you don't have one, that is okay. There are several people already planning to sleep in their cars!) - Air mattress (or other bedding) - Pillows & Blankets - Extra food - Water - 2 changes of clothes (from reception to more comfortable clothes) - Slip-on shoes (bonus points if waterproof!) - bug spray - flashlight Swim at your own risk! The campground is gated from the public, but has an ungated access to the Rockcastle River. The swimming hole connected to the campground usually does not go above 4 feet deep and is perfect for wading or cooling off. If you would like to take advantage of the water at any point, be aware that even in very shallow water there can be strong currents, and there are no lifeguards.
