RSVPs will be accepted through March 22, 2023.
When we set our date, we hoped that by spring 2023 the pandemic would be long behind us. Unfortunately, this virus has proven very good at mutating. We ask that you take a rapid home antigen test prior to the event and do not come if you are positive or testing negative but have COVID symptoms. We have linked to some sites where you can buy Flowflex rapid tests below. Why rapids and not PCRs? We want you to be able to take the test at home and rapids are very good at telling if people have high enough viral loads to infect others. We would rather have an empty seat or two than have our wedding turn into a super spreader event, and trust that should we ask you to do this, you will respect us and our other guests enough to do so. We are registered at Food52, Crate and Barrel, and the Williams-Sonoma family of stores. See the registry tab for links!
Yes, we would like all guests to dress in cocktail or semi-formal attire. For men, that means preferably dark suits and ties, and for women, that means a long dress or a cocktail dress. We want it to be an excuse to break out your fancy clothes, but please don't rent or buy a tuxedo!
Yes! The Clerestory has a large parking lot. The lot is, however, shared with the rest of Greyline Station, so it's possible it will be busy that evening. We recommend using a ride-sharing service to any of our out of town guests who do not intend to rent a vehicle and for anyone who intends to drink alcohol from this open bar event. We want you to have fun, but your safety is our first concern.
To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children unless prompted when you RSVP. Invited children are those of out of town family members travelling in for the occasion.
Yes! See our "Travel" tab for details.
Absolutely! Email us at theatwaters2023@gmail.com and we will do everything within our power to make sure you have a meal you can safely and happily eat.
Because so many of our guests will be either coming in from surrounding counties or live in Lexington, we are not providing transportation from any particular hotel. Increasingly, hotels offer shuttle services within city limits, so check with your hotel of choice to see if that is an option.
