We're Getting Married!

Chloe and Pat were both in attendance at Bill Giguere's wedding, Chloe because her and Bill became friends at Providence College. Pat because he and Bill were introduced at a young age by their mutual friends Jean and Steve. After Pat's best man speech Chloe approached and said "I liked your speech" and Pat thought to himself "I like... what I'm seeing here". Later in the evening Bryan Christopher Johnson organized an "after the after party, party" in coordination with Melissa Crimmins and Katie Olivier, to get Pat and Chloe together - and the rest is history. Pretty impressive planning considering Bryan was homeschooled until the age of 14.

One Saturday morning Chloe returned home from running errands to find - Pat missing. Years of watching Law & Order SVU taught her that this is not good. She searched the apartment and discovered a note that instructed her to open Pat's iPad where a video was cued up with a message from Nev (the host of MTV's "Catfish") telling her that if she wanted answers: she'd have to read the clue inside of her blue piggy bank. Before you know it, Chloe was off on a scavenger hunt, driving around town to hunt down clues - she sent an inappropriate GIF to her sister who gave her a clue leading her to... an envelope by her parent's pool which had a clue leading her to... her nieces and nephew reading her a riddle which she solved, sending her... on the road to Cape Cod. Pat was waiting alone on a beach when Chloe arrived and after he proposed they kayaked out to Bassett's Island (which you can see from Pat's grandmother's house and where Chloe's Dad used to take his boat when he was a kid) to a champagne picnic that Pat had set up while Chloe was doing the scavenger hunt. They spent a lovely afternoon celebrating together and trying to remember if Chloe had actually said "yes" earlier.
