ROOM RESERVATIONS: Please call the Dao House and leave a voicemail if needed to get your stay reserved. Mention that you are a guest of the Stevens/Chisholm wedding. Note that the Dao House is holding rooms for our guests until JUNE 15th, but the discounted rate we've secured will be available as long as rooms are. GENERAL INFO: This is where most guests (including us!) will be staying and is the location for welcome drinks, the ceremony, and the reception. We'd love for as many people to be on site as possible as the rounds nearby are a bit winding and we want everyone to be able to fully enjoy themselves on site without worrying about driving and drinking. FOOD OPTIONS: The Dao House has some snacks available, but does not have a full kitchen. We recommend bringing some snacks and getting food in town depending on the length of your stay. See the events page for more information on when meals will be provided to guests. Please research additional options through Airbnb and local Estes Park hotels if you'd prefer to stay elsewhere. LIMITED CELL SERVICE: The Dao House has very limited/no cell service depending on your provider. We highly recommend saving or printing anything you need prior to your trip. Note that they do have wifi on site which will be the best method of communication for most guests. ALTITUDE: The Dao house is situated at 9,200 feet which can feel like a big adjustment for people arriving from sea level. We HIGHLY ENCOURAGE drinking lots of water leading up to your arrival, being conservative with your alchohol consumption, and giving yourself time to aclimate to the altitude by staying 1-2 nights in Denver prior. Note that there is an oxygen bar on site should you need it!

Flight
This is the closest major airport to the venue, but there may be some other more local options to look into if you're interested. TRANSPORTATION TO THE DAO HOUSE: Arriving to the Dao House will require a car as there is no local transportation and the site is a bit remote. There are many car rental options available at Denver International Airport. If you're planning to do any dirt roads/tougher drives during your visit, we highly recommend higher clearance 4WD/AWD vehicles. If you're looking to ride share with anyone, let us know and we can try to help set you up with other guests!
Travel Note
Yay, you're about to be on your way! The trip from Denver International Airport to the Dao House is about 1 hour and 30 minutes depending on traffic. With the route changing due to traffice, we recommend doing a quick google search for the most updated and efficient route when you head out. The road does get a bit winding in the last ~40 minutes.
