THE HAMILTONS

Nick and Chisa met more than five years ago on the dating app, soul swipe. Chisa almost swiped “left” on Nick, and would’ve ultimately missed out on her future soulmate! It was the skydiving and the “experienced traveler” pictures that caught her eye. Once they matched, Chisa gave Nick the run around for almost 2 months, until she finally agreed to a first date. This was only after seeing that Nick was celebrating his birthday in Japan. For their first date, Nick took Chisa to the meatball shop in Brooklyn, however, he arrived late, and to his surprise, Chisa waited patiently for him to arrive. Once he arrived, he was welcomed with Chisa smiling from ear to ear as she analyzed Nick from head to toe, as she was glad she agreed to this date after all this time. The conversation began with ease, and within the first few seconds, Nick had Chisa laughing nonstop. The connection was unimaginable! They laughed at each other’s jokes, shared their similarities, until the night came to an end, that neither of them were ready for. This lead them to continue their date on to the next spot, drinks and dancing! That night, Nick drove Chisa home, as any gentleman would have done; opened her car door, walked her to her door, gave her nothing but a HUG, and wished her a good night. Nick left Chisa with butterflies in her stomach as she ran upstairs to her roommate to share with her the details of the amazing date she just had with the most caring, funny, and handsome man. He of course, drove home, planning the next time when he would see her again. This first date was the beginning of something special… Chisa and Nick continued on their journey, meeting each others families, traveling the world together, binge watching tv shows, trying new foods and activities and so much more! Amongst being lovers, they were BEST FRIENDS! And just like that, they were already on year three! While driving home from work, Nick received a call from Chisa, that changed his life forever! They were going to be a family of THREE! On January 13, 2020, they welcomed their greatest blessing into the world, Nasir Dimitri! No matter how exciting, exhausting, and stressful, new parenthood was, Chisa and Nick remained madly in love and took on this new and exciting challenge together! This brought Chisa and Nick even closer together. Falling more in love with each other as the days, weeks, and years passed. Their love and bond, were unbreakable! There was nothing like It. They tackled every obstacle together all while adding more memories to their lengthy list! Fast forward to January 7, 2022, Nick brought Chisa to the top of the mountain of Metropolitan National Park in Panama! He gave the camera to a passing by tourist as he got Chisa in the most perfect spot for their "picture." Once the camera was rolling, Nick dropped down on one knee and proposed to the woman of his dreams! Of course she said YES! And the rest is history... Soon they will be on the beautiful island of Jamaica, back to their roots, joining together as ONE and taking the step to their next journey of life together! To this day, Nick and Chisa still get those butterflies for each other. Nick continues to surprise Chisa with flowers every other week and continues to be the man of her dreams! And Chisa continues to shower Nick with the love and affection he deserves, while being his “practice dummy” for juijitzu, proving that this bond is a forever thing! #itsHAMILtime
