Diversity in Diabetes
We are fortunate enough to have access to excellent healthcare, even facing diabetes. Diversity in Diabetes is an organization that works to expand that access to communities who've been historically been excluded from this care. Thanks so much if you choose to donate.
Mashpee Wampanoag
Cape Cod MA is where Lindsay grew up, and where we are celebrating our marriage. Falmouth, before colonial occupation, historically belonged to the Wampanoag people, or the "People of the First Light." Before colonization, Falmouth was known as Sucanesset, though it is challenging to find detailed Sucanesset history. Regardless, the Mashpee Wampanoag tribe has been essential to forwarding indigenous history on Cape Cod and throughout Massachusetts. While their fight for sovereignty is currently dormant, please consider supporting the tribe through their education, outreach, and/or healthcare events.
Greater Boston Food Bank
John and Lindsay have been fortunate enough to have been employed throughout the pandemic. Many of our community have not. The Greater Boston Food bank has been on the front lines of ensuring access to nutritious, culturally appropriate, effective food distribution throughout the pandemic.
West Elm
Thank you for indulging us. New dishes would be delightful.
The Knot
A few extras that didn't fit in a category.
