The story begins in Midtown Manhattan, 2022. Chica and Jason work in the same neighborhood and their paths cross numerous times, and each time a spark grows a little bit brighter, like the Grinch's heart as he realizes Christmas is a special holiday after all! It all changed during the Summer of 2022. During a trip to Long Island, they shared Burger King on the beach, something that could undeniably only grow the spark even brighter, right?! But still these two stubborn beings continued on, blind to the ever growing spark between them. And so, the universe tried harder! Then came the rosé festival at Pier 15. Chica shows up in an all pink (or rosé, you might say) jumpsuit and the world would never be the same! The spark grew into a flame that day, but still the stubborn move forward! The universe was fed up with Chica and Jason's stubborness. In September 2022 they began working at the same place and the flame would only grow with every day they saw each other. And in a shocking twist, because real life writes the best storylines, it was football that changed it all. Jason invited Chica to see the New York Giants play the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football. She easily said yes, with no hesitation at all, because sports, especially FOOTBALL, are her favorite. No sarcasm there at all... But seriously, the flame that had grown too big at this point, would not allow her to say no, and alas, she joined Jason and friends to watch the Giants get savagedly beaten by the Cowboys. But one Giant loss turned into a lifetime Giant win for Chica and Jason. While reassuring Jason that the Giants would one day be good again, they finally accepted what the universe had been trying to get them to accept all year: Chica was meant to be a giant Giants fan. But also, they were meant to be together. Forever. And their story turned from a suspense thriller to a fairytale comedy. Since then, they've been to Hawaii, Orlando, all over Italy, all over the Caribbean, and Mexico. Chica has shown Jason around Arizona (where she grew up) and Jason has shown Chica that New Jersey isn't as bad as everyone says it is (because he grew up there!). On July 14, 2025, Jason finally listened to his inner Beyoncé, and he put a ring on it during a romantic dinner on the beach, during sunset, in Aruba. No big deal. But still, New York City is their common and current home and where they Live Life Every Day. It's where life changed forever. They both moved to the greatest city in the world to change their lives for the better, and that's exactly what they did! And it is for that exact reason that they have chosen to celebrate their marriage in the city where it all began!
