Working at Wegmans Meals 2 Go, I had some issue that I spent all day trying to figure out. Everyone I talked to said I was going to have to ask Chef Marcelino, followed with concerned looks and “good luck”s. He was the big, scary, intimidating chef and I don’t tolerate that sh*t. So I finally marched up to this intimidating Chef and with the most attitude I could summon (you all know I can be quite firm) and said, “I need your help and I don’t care what you’re doing.” Chef Marcelino seemed a bit confused as he had a raw chicken on each hand, trying to make rotisserie chickens, and simply threw them down onto the cart in front of him. Without fuss, he helped solved my not that deep or important problem, and the rest is history.
