Justin and I met through work while living in Central Pennsylvania. We officially met at a work happy hour about a month after he started working there. We started talking about football and our favorite teams (for me the Broncos and him the Lions). Little did I know at that time, that my life was going to spent watching a lot more sports games with the most avid sports fan I have ever met. Speaking of, that night we realized our favorite teams were playing each other tomorrow night in Sunday Night Football… basically fate! The night went on and before we knew it we were the only people left at the happy hour. It was clear at this point that I couldn’t let this guy go without getting his number and since he hadn’t asked me, I had to ask him! After that night, our relationship continued to grow and get serious and all the while we were keeping it a secret from everyone except family and a few close friends. After about 7 months, word got around due to Kevin Nielsen blurting it our at lunch in front of most of our coworkers! But we forgave him! We were ready for people to know. A year later, we were moving to Nashville together to start a new journey. We loved the warm weather, listening to the live music on Broadway and all the great food that Nashville has to offer. About 9 months after we had made Nashville our home, Justin wanted to take me on a hike. Justin kept wanting to stop at multiple lookout points, meanwhile I wanted to keep hiking. Finally, I agreed to stop. When I did I look to see Justin drop to one knee and ask me to be his wife! Since then, we have loved being able to build a life together in Nashville. I am so thankful I get to spend my life with such an amazing man and get to change my last name to Zywicki so I can seem more cultured :)
