Please dress in semi-formal or formal attire. Tuxes, suits, button-downs, polos, ties, bowties, maxi dresses, short/sundresses, dress-suits are all welcome in any color and any pattern! However, we ask that you do not wear white or mostly white attire. Oswego weather can be unpredictable, so bring any layers you may need such as a sweater, shawl, rain jacket, umbrella, and maybe even a snowsuit... just kidding... kind of...
IN OSWEGO: The Clarion Best Western Holiday Inn Express Home2Suites IN BALDWINSVILLE (35 minute drive): Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndam Airbnbs and VRBOs are also highly recommended and many can offer a nice view of Lake Ontario, but we suggest you book them as soon as you can as they will likely be unavailable around our date.
While we'd love to see your children run and play, this is an adults-only type of day.
Our ceremony will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church and Shrine in Oswego which will be in a very busy part of town due to Harborfest. We recommend carpooling with other guests and arriving early as there may be traffic and sparse off-street parking. The church has a parking lot but has limited space. The reception will be at Oswego Country Club, which is about a ten minute drive from the church. They have their own parking lots and there should not be any issues with parking.
If you are given a plus one, you can bring a guest with you. Invitations for couples and families will not receive a plus one.
Harborfest is an annual 4-day long festival held at Breitbeck Park in Oswego. It typically attracts thousands of people to the area. If you have not been in the area and would like to sample local vendors and live music on the Friday before or Sunday after our big day, definitely make a point to go to Harborfest! The lake view is always stunning, too.
Passed hors d'oeuvres and buffet-style dinner will have a variety of options to choose from to accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free diets.
