Garrett and I met the typical millenial way... good ole tinder! We were both nervous to meet for the first time. I was so nervous my roomate and now bridesmaid Michelle basically had to talk me out of the house. I showed up early amd waited for Garrett to arrive at the restraunt. I arrived early to make sure he was who he appeared to be and not a serial killer lol. Once i saw him exit his truck i basically ran as fast as i could towards him. The minute we locked eyes amd he smiled i truly felt time stop. During our meal we talked about life and the conversation felt so natural and as if we had known eachother for years. We sat at the table for close to four hours. Ten glasses of water later and several “can i get you guys anything else” we decided to go get ice cream. Needless to say our first day ended up being six hours long!
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic last year for the safety of our friends and family we had to reduce our guest list and not do a formal reception. We were married on the smokiest day in Spokane’s history….fitting due to my husbands occupation. It was a beauitful day filled with love and happiness but we were saddened we couldnt share our soeciql day with our friends and family 🤍 We made the decision to reschedule a ceremony and reception on our one year anniversary 9/12/2021 so we could properly celebrate our marriage with our friends and family.
