We're Getting Married!

It was summer '09 in Stone Harbor, NJ - a summer that a lot of Stone Harbor kids look back on and say "that was one of the best summers ever." Little did Chesse or Brandon know, it was the summer they would meet their soul mate for the first time. They were 17 years old. Chesse was a "shoobie," Brandon was a local. There was a party at Chesse's summer house on 100th street. Brandon showed up with some mutual friends. A friendship pursued for the next 4 years. It wasn't until 2013 that sparks would suddenly ignite between them. It was a cold, March weekend in Stone Harbor. Chesse came to town with her family for Easter weekend. Anyone who was in town at the time went to Fred's Tavern that Saturday night, which was one of the only bars to remain open that time of year. Brandon sat next to Chesse at the bar and began conversation. The rest is history.

Chesse and Brandon were on a vacation that led them from Portland, Oregon to the tropical island of O'ahu, Hawaii. On the first full night in Hawaii, they ventured to a private luau at Nutridge Estate, a macadamia nut plantation overlooking the city of Honolulu. The sun was setting and it had begun to rain - something that the Hawaiians consider a blessing. At that moment, Brandon turned to Chesse and got down on one knee. Chesse laugh-cried happy tears, said "yes," and they were ENGAGED! The party ensued and drinks flowed that night at the luau... We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
