Matron of Honor
"Sisters make the hard times easier and the easy times more fun!" Sister, sister! I was the annoying younger sister who would not leave her alone. I was loud and would hang on her and she absolutely hated it! Little did she know I always wanted to be around her because I looked up to her so much and still do! She was always made to hold my hand and watch my every move because I could be a little crazy at times ( I know it's hard to believe). She had my back since day one and she still has my back now.
Best Man
Rob has been an integral part of my life since fall of 2000 when we were freshmen at Marquette University. He lived in the dorm room next to me at that vital time when everyone’s getting to know their neighbors and forming alliances for our college years. Rob has seen me through good times and bad. He’s not only the Best Man at this wedding, he’s one of the Best Men in my life.
Man of Honor
Oh Kurty... EVERYONE needs a Kurty in their life! We have been friends since we met at a party when we were 16 years old. He thought I was shy and I thought he was completely nuts and talked too much but somehow we complimented each other and it worked! We then went to college together and the rest is history! We have not lived in the same state for over 10 years however when we get together we seem not to miss a beat. Kurt is truly family in my book!
Groomsman
I first met Greg at Sunday School at the Community Church in Boulder Junction Wisconsin when we were just kids. He was the only kid there who was nice to me because I didn’t know anyone else. I had no idea that years later he’d end up marrying my sister. Greg is the single best brother-in-law that I have. And he’s going to make one heck of a groomsman. Feel free to say hi to Greg and talk all about the Brewers.
Bridesmaid
Oh Stephanie... my little gypsy detective! I met Stephanie only 7 years ago but I feel like I knew her forever ago! When she meets you, she wants to know everything about you immediately even down to what you had for dinner (haha). Stephanie truly cares about who you are, where you come from and where you are going but without any judgement. We have both been each others biggest cheerleaders over the years and for that I am so thankful.
Groomsman
I met Jamie in the fall of 2000 after one of our first Broadcasting classes together at Marquette University. We went on to live together our Sophomore and Junior years at MU. I even remember when he had hair! This guy can talk to anyone about anything. His real life passions are Star Wars and Marvel comics along with his wonderful wife Michelle and daughter Lila. Jamie’s one of the most wholesome guys you’ll ever meet.
Bridesmaid
I met Jodie through Stephanie and it was an instant connection. She was immediately welcoming and she cracked me up! Jodie is the most selfless, compassionate person I know. She will truly do anything for a friend and that is rare these days. I knew immediately I had a friendship with Jodie that would last a lifetime. Plus her love and passion for everything 1980's is incredibly impressive! Shout out to her hubby Mr. Nick Bankhead who is a great friend and always ready to RAGE!
Groomsman
I can’t pinpoint exactly when I met Ben. I just know it was a long time ago. It was through mutual friends, playing Xbox of all things! Eventually we became friends in real life or “IRL” as the kids say. Today I consider him one of my closest friends. He lives over near Madison with his lovely wife Tiffanie and adorable daughters Olivia and Samantha.
Mother and Father of the Bride
I am lucky they are my parents and I thank them for always being my biggest supporters!
Mother and Father of the Groom
The best parents a guy could ever ask for! Thank you for all you do.
Officiant and sister of the groom
What can I say here? Well first, it’s pronounced “Kree’-sah” and just like her name this girl is one of a kind. She’s a fantastic little sister. She’s a first-grade teacher, meaning she can wrangle unruly kids. This made her an excellent choice to officiate our wedding. If you want to get to know Kreisa just have a cocktail and ask her about her class. You’ll have a fast friend. And she might just tell you some funny stories about us as kids too. One of the kindest, most considerate people in my life, Kreisa’s going to be a great addition to this wedding.
