Formal attire: Think dark suits or tuxes, floor/ankle length dresses, or formal pantsuits/jumpsuits. We want you to wear something you feel great in! The event will be entirely outside and a large portion of the venue is on a grass lawn. Please keep this in mind when picking your outfit.
Beaufort in the Fall is usually beautiful with temperatures in the mid 60-70’s and a nice breeze from the water. That being said, the ocean can make weather unpredictable. Make sure you check the weather before packing!
The Beaufort Inn— This is where the wedding party will be staying and where the wedding will be held. If you want to be right in the action, we recommend you stay here. They have more traditional hotel rooms, but also some historic 2 bedroom cottages if that is more your style. Go to the travel tab above to book through our room block. If the Beaufort Inn is not for you, there are other hotels/options in the area. Anything in Downtown Beaufort will be in walking distance to the wedding.
Of course! We are planning on staying in Beaufort Thursday through Sunday and will have activities planned all weekend to continue the celebration with our friends and family. Beaufort is a great place to spend a long weekend, see the "Things To Do" tab above for some of our favorites around town.
The wedding ceremony and reception will be for adults only. If childcare is needed we are happy to help you connect with a babysitter in Beaufort for the night. Children are welcome at the welcome party on Thursday evening and festivities being held Saturday (and we would love to see them!). The Old Point of Downtown Beaufort has great trick or treating if you’re planning to have the kids down for the weekend.
In order to get the most of your trip to Beaufort, we recommend you have a car. Uber and Lyft are available if this is not possible for you.
