Where is the wedding?

The wedding ceremony will take place at Chapel on McEver in Gainesville GA. 3001 McEver Rd Gainesville, GA 30504 Please note that this is SEPARATE from Château Élan, which is where we'll be hosting the weekend experience.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 1:00pm. Please arrive no earlier than 12:30 no later than 12:45 We are expecting over 150 guest. Please allot yourself time.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
NO. Your Plus 1 has to be approved. If you bring a guest outside of the approval they will be escorted to the overflow room until after dinner.

Are kids welcome?

We respectfully request NO children at the wedding eve soirée and NO children at the wedding

Will there be a reception?
Answer
Most of our guests were originally invited to a ceremony-only celebration. We love and appreciate you all so much for supporting us and respecting our wishes that we decided to do something special for everyone following the ceremony. Please join us for an intimate cocktail-and-tapas celebration featuring small plates, drinks, music, and time together. This will not be a traditional seated dinner or banquet-style reception. The experience is designed to feel social, flowing, and relaxed, with a mixture of seated and standing tables for guests to mingle and enjoy the celebration.

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
No. Please note that our ceremony will take place in a sanctuary. Out of respect for the venue policy, no alcohol is permitted inside the chapel or anywhere on the church premises.

Do you have a wedding registry?
Answer
Rather than a traditional registry, we've opted for a cash fund to help us start this exciting new chapter. You can contribute through the Venmo link on our website, or if you prefer, you're welcome to use Zelle, bring cards or cash to the wedding. We kindly ask that you refrain from store-specific gift cards. Thank you for celebrating with us!

UNPLUGGED CEREMONY- no pictures

This will be an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that our guests remain present and enjoy the moment therefore no phones are allowed during the ceremony. Please do not record the ceremony in its entirety. If our Wedding Coordinator notices extended recording, you may be kindly asked to put your phone away. We respectfully ask that all guests honor and comply with any requests made by the Wedding Coordinator. Security will also be onsite to assist as needed. We understand that there are TWO different locations associated with our wedding weekend, so here's a quick breakdown: Chateau Elan Winery & Resort (Braselton, GA) FRIDAY DECEMBER 4th Hotel of Bride and Groom Location of the Pre Celebration and wine tasting Recommended lodging option for guests who would like the full wedding weekend experience The Chapel on McEver (Gainesville, GA) SATURDAY DECEMBER 5th Wedding ceremony venue Location where the bride and groom will exchange vows Distance Between the Two Locations: The Chapel on McEver and Chateau Elan are approximately 20minutes apart, depending on traffic. Which Location Should I Go To? Friday: Chateau Elan for the Rehearsal Dinner Celebration (winery ticket purchase required) Saturday: The Chapel on McEver for the Wedding Ceremony.

Who is allowed at the Wedding Eve Soirée

Due to recent policy changes at Château Elan, to attend our Rehearsal Celebration You will need to purchase a ticket to the winery through their website for the date 12/4. You can select anytime. You can accompany us in the winery but your tasting will not start until the time you booked The bride and groom will provide refreshments while you await your tasting time. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we comply with the venue's updated policies.

Wine Taste with Us at Chateau Elan

The Bride and Groom will be celebrating at the Winery at Chateau Elan on December 4 from 1:00 PM–4:30pm If you would like to join the celebration, please visit the Chateau Elan website to purchase your winery tasting tickets. You may notice that the website offers several reservation times—simply choose the time that works best for you and complete your purchase. Feel free to arrive early and celebrate with us! What is the dress code?

The dress code Semi-Formal / Sunday Best with Seasonal Layers. NO BLACK , NO RED, NO WHITE Please leave Cream, Tan, and Ivory for the family and black for the staff. ONLY MEN can wear black suits if desired. Our wedding will be held in December in Georgia, so temperatures may be cool. We kindly ask guests to dress in Semi-Formal or Sunday Best attire. As the weather can be unpredictable in December, we recommend bringing a stylish coat, wrap, shawl, or other outer layer for comfort when traveling between locations. Our goal is for everyone to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate with us while maintaining the elegant atmosphere of our special day.

You are welcome to book any hotel that is convenient for you, whether it is near the wedding venue or downtown Atlanta. Just be mindful Atlanta is 50mins to 1hr from the venue l.

HOTEL BLOCK HAS ENDED Reservation Deadline: August 15th, 2026 We have secured the opportunity to reserve a room block at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort for our wedding weekend. Minimum Requirement: At least 10 rooms must be reserved for the room block to remain active. Hotel Details Address: 100 Rue Charlemagne, Braselton, GA 30517 Stay Dates: December 3–6, 2026 Rate: $289.00 per room, per night (not per person) Sleeps up to 4 guests per room Daily Resort Fee: $55.00 per room Taxes & Fees: Currently 16% tax plus $5.00 per night $300 deposit due by July 30th to secure your reservation Estimated Cost The base room cost for a 3-night stay is approximately $867.00 ($289 × 3 nights). After taxes, resort fees, and additional hotel fees, guests should expect a total cost of approximately $1,100–$1,250 per room for the entire stay. Please note that room rates are quoted per room, per night—not per person. Up to four guests may stay in each room, allowing the cost to be split among roommates. For example, if four guests share a room, the total lodging cost can be divided among all occupants, making the stay significantly more affordable. However, we kindly ask that you review the website first, as many common questions regarding accommodations, travel, the wedding weekend itinerary, and other important details have already been answered there. As the wedding date approaches, additional information will be added to the website, including contact information for the Wedding Coordinator. On the day of the wedding, guests should direct any event-related questions to the coordinator so the bride and groom can fully enjoy their special day with family and friends.
