Airbnb has many options for homes in Ferndale, Fortuna, Rio Dell and Eureka. Ferndale homes have been running out very quickly but Fortuna, Rio Dell, and Eureka all are great alternatives. Prior to booking, please note that the drive from Fortuna to Ferndale is roughly 15-20 minutes, Rio Dell to Ferndale is roughly 20 minutes, and from Eureka to Ferndale is roughly 30 minutes. Please also note that the following Airbnb Titled "Rustic and Private Capetown Ranch School House" is located in Capetown, not Ferndale (as noted in the map), which is a 35-40 minute drive on along the mountainside. We personally would not recommend this rental due only to the location and drive after the wedding. This road can often contain high fog, strong winds, and low visibility.

The casino is a short drive from the venue, roughly ten minutes. The rooms are clean and there are dining options in-house. Please note that this is a casino and they do allow smoking inside the casino which is on the opposite side of the building from the rooms. Historically, smoke smell does not filter to the rooms.
