Question

Are the Ceremony and Reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all take place at Parker Manor.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal We prefer you to wear neutral colors, but understand if that isn't possible! Neutrals: Black, Grey, Navy Blue, Champagne/Gold/Silver Preferably no blue jeans. Other than the obvious color, white, please avoid wearing brown as this is the color the bridesmaids will be wearing.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We would love to have our ceremony in the outdoor ceremony area, but since this wedding is at the end of February we are unsure what the weather may the day of. Texas can be unpredictable! If it is too cold or rainy, we will move ceremony to the chapel onsite. Regardless, the property has a beautiful outdoors and balconies we would love for you to explore so please plan to bring a jacket in case!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Get some drinks and meet us on the dance floor! Feel free to utilize this as much as you want as long as you plan for responsible transportation afterwards! We will not be providing transportation to your hotel or AirBnB. Open bar will start at cocktail hour and end around 10-11pm (TBD).

Question

Parking and Transportation

Answer

There is plenty of parking spaces in front of the manor. In the case, we move ceremony to the chapel, there is another parking lot closer to the chapel that will be used for wedding party and elderly. Whether you're driving yourself, carpooling, or catching a ride in Uber/Lyft- just be sure to arrive on time so you don't miss the fun! Transportation at the end of the night will be limited, if provided. Please plan to coordinate a ride beforehand.

Question

How and when should I RSVP by?

Answer

There is a page on this website that allows you to RSVP for your family and we ask that you do so at your earliest convenience. We would love if you can RSVP by November 1st! This helps us secure our final planning steps. Any RSVPs after this deadline will be considered as declining so we can send final counts to our vendors.

Question

Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to limited budget we had to keep our guest count under a certain limit. Although we wish we could celebrate with everyone, please only bring the person(s) listed on the wedding invitation!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We decided to not allow for little ones so make the best use of our total guest count. The only children there will be immediate family, and those a part of the event. Your invitation will indicate whether they are invited. We still want you to make it so please plan for a babysitter!

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We are working getting a hotel discount code. Once we do, it will be found on our travel page.

Question

Will you be having a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

At this moment we do not have one planned. If we end up doing a rehearsal dinner and you are invited, your invite will indicate so. We will encourage you to plan to get in town a day early still and explore DFW! Check out out "Things to do" page for suggestions in the area.
